fu is a taiwanese internet lingo actually. why they use fu not feel, probably like we use 2day for today.

zai zai new song is horrible. sodagreen's new song smack of commercialism. Aaron's song sounds rather dated (90s style) but is the best among the 3.

Because the good songs have all gone to the other 2 charts, especially radio 100.3, which has a more comprehensive selection, though I am not so supportive of the fact that they have included English and Korean songs. What's next? Malay, Japanese?

I propose coming up with a thread for 100.3 charts and we can compare.

Then perhaps we can tell if my assumption is right. Unless the song is really popular, most songs do not get the balance we expect. If 93.3 supports 棉花糖's 再见王子 and pushes them to top 5, there is a possibility that this is due to the duo coming to Singapore and having some events solely for 93.3. Look at Rene Liu and Eddie Peng, especially the latter whose album has been released for over two months before it hits the chart with a slow number. Rarely we get two stations that support the same songs except for Jay and Lee Hom. In situations like this, most record companies choose to release the first single(preferably a radio-friendly one not 摇滚怎么了） wayyyyy ahead of the full album. Like Lee Hom is doing really well in all 3 charts.

Now that 100.3 gets to release the new songs faster than or almost the same time as 93.3, the first single will always hit their charts. It is the second single that differs. Like 罗志祥，93.3 second song is 习惯就好，100.3 is 爱不单行。JJ's third song for 93.3 is 加油, whereas 100.3 is 跟屁虫.

883 is very Canto feel do you realise? Two weeks ago, out of the ten songs, there is Karen, Sammi, Aaron and Joey! Some of these songs aren't released officially so we know that it can't be that popular. I mean, how many of you heard of Joey's 信今生相爱？Only a few I notice..

I kinda like ding dang's new song actually :X catchy(even though I dun like the title for obvious reasons ) . And zyj song is quite nice...but abit emo lol. :X

And yea...that time i listen to 883 chart I think was last year...joey managed to hit 1 for songs that aren't popular.
But i stop listening to 883 and 1003 charts already cause of the frequent changes in timeslot(especially 883, dunno what they thinking?) and inconvenience.

100.3 seems to be very proud of those Korean songs climbing. what so proud abt that anyway? Last time when 91.3 was a sister station to 100.3, when 100.3 charted Corrine May's 'Fly Away', i wrote in to blast them cos 91.3 oso dint chart, they were dead silence.

one thing abt 933 is that they are actually more realistic - it is very obvious that pretty face like Eddie Peng will go high becos he had a lot of (TV) fans. if Cotton Candy reach No.1, then it will be questionable. sad but true, over 20 years, pretty faces still rules the chart, from Xiao Hu Dui to Li Ming/Aaron to Eddie Peng of today.

actually a year or 2 back, we had one of the forumers create a "combined chart", which basically publishes the "combined stations' top 20", after taking equal weightage from all 3 charts (933, 1003, 883). unfortunately as it was rather tedious, the forumer actually stopped collating such charts...

actually 933 has toned down a lot. last time they do all sorts of nonsense, like Jay's BEST selling album Fantasy only have a No.16 hit with 'Kai Bu Liao Kou', can you believe that??? of course, not to mention the 5566 fiasco (especially with that Ho WOMAN).

but for station to champion different songs, i think is quite ok. 933 is catering for 12 year old and below, 1003 got their panel of judges if i m not wrong, so they will have different songs. the taiwanese also have much different taste compared to us.

Yup 1003 chart has like 40% based on judges if i m not wrong. can't remember.

actually comparing all the 3 charts, 933 has the more convincing results. it is like expected some singers will top etc although sometimes there might be discrapancies like howcome this singer suddenly can do so well or suddenly do so badly..

but however in general its rather convincing and believable

ohno the chart now is splattered with crap! my logo is really uber dumb and horrendous. the nicest song on chart now has gotta be zhang yun jing's one... cant believe kuan shu just plunged out like that also, without a second hit entering -.-

I really like Sodagreen's song. Its kinda catchy and soothing.
Hopefully with big names like Jolin and Leehom, HanGeng will not champ. I really hate that song although i quite like Hangeng while he was with Super Junior.
Quite surprised to see Sammi's song plunge after its quick rise.

Looks like jolin might not hit #1 with mei ren ji with leehom around! Though I would hope she gets one time and then plunge like wu niang haha.

4 Times Of Jay

Congrats to Jay as 'Shuo Le Zai Jian' has become his joint longest reigning No.1 at 4 weeks, tying 'Yi Fu Zhi Ming' from 2003. In actual fact, he has surpassed the achievements of SHE and Mayday, not equal them as JiaHui has claimed in the show. Here are the artistes that spent 4 weeks at No.1 and above since 2000:
